Hi everyone!
Overall, I feel I'm doing better despite conditions being far from perfect since:
- Hubby's back is still killing him and keeping him from doing anything even remotely physical.
- My shoulder is also problematic though not continuously.
- I suffered from an episode of sadness and discouragement yesterday.
- We had to get tested for COVID-19 today because Hubby's grandfather has been tested positive (it was a control test before he could get hand surgery and revealed he had the virus) and we saw him a lot last week.
Yesterday was just bad but today, I managed to get some motivation back and even worked on my online classes. I did a lot of planning and scheduling for the beginners' class in English. I also improved the planning sheet for housework so that it's more visual (you guessed it, there's a color code ^^).
Actual housework is another story with the girls being around daily and Hubby not being able to help much. But tomorrow is my buffer day, so I'm hoping to catch up and, who knows, maybe even get a couple of new things done.
All this made me realize there was not much room for unexpected problems in our lives: every time something arises, we just get behind by sacrificing the least essential things and focusing on survival stuff.
How about you? Do you find it hard to stay on top of things when your household is under change? Let me know in the comments.
