•  Hi everyone!

I was going to prepare my usual Sunday check-in in advance because we're going on a weekend getaway when it hit me: this week is actually wrap-up time!

So here I am, looking back on what was quite a nice Round after all. It started badly enough with lots of craziness and tensions, but at least it kept improving and now I'm seeing lots of progress has been made.

Which is the perfect realization before a relaxing break, by the way.

Anyhow, I'll assess my progress in terms of PASS and FAIL as usual, adding blue comments on how things went.

How about you? How did you do this Round? Let me know in the comments. I hope you're well, wherever you are!

Normally, there's also blue for progress and pause in purple, but right now i'll focus on numbers and only goals where progress has been made.

  •  Hi everyone!

This week was about the parental suite and making it habitable at last. We're almost there, hoping to have it ready by the end of next week.

So I spent most of my free time painting, cleaning and preparing for the new wooden floor which we'll start laying tomorrow.

So of course, I'm tired but still feeling motivated and dedicated to meeting that goal ASAP.

Surprisingly enough, I managed to squeeze in some writing between reno and work, so the week was super good. It's nice to feel energetic and focused again.

How about you? What makes you feel extra-motivated and forget exhaustion? What have you been dedicated too lately? Let me know in the comments.

  •  Hi everyone!

Last week, I noticed I was having a hard time with transition times, and this week made it clear my daughters are the same. Their sleep hasn't been so good, which of course has impacted Hubby and me.

However, I find that daily meditation helps me handle it better, so there's at least that.

And of course transitions are not intrisically good or bad, they're just an adjusting time we need to go through, for better or for worse.

Right now, it seems to be for the better as far as the house is concerned. Our parental suite is at the core of our free time and we're definitely seeing ourselves in there by the end of the month. =D

As for the girls, the change is nice too and they like school, so it's mostly about changing pace.

Writing is a bit trickier as I don't have much time, but overall, it's not going too badly either. I sometimes skip a day or two, then stray from the plan and scribble notes for another episode instead of writing #2, but I'm still making progress there too, chaotic as it may look sometimes. I guess it's because I'm all over the place in life too.

Anyway, it doesn't exactly feel that way but it was a good week. ^^

How about you? Are you in a transition time right now? If so, is it for better or for worse? Let me know in the comments.

  •  Hi everyone!

This week was weird since the 3-year-olds only went to school on Tuesday. Thankfully, Hubby was home and I did not have too many classes of my own.

Overall it was a good week though I realized I was not doing so well with transition times and was longing for a sense of routine to settle back.

I was kind of hyper all week and made extra progress, but then I was too exhausted to do anything over the weekend, except some writing.

How about you? How are you with transition times? Let me know in the comments.

  •  Hi everyone!

Hubby and I have been working on my new author's website for a couple of weeks now and it's starting to look good. However, I need a bit of consistency, so I'll keep checking in from here for this Round even if it's ready before we wrap up.

This week has been a roller coaster but overall things are still improving: I sleep better at last, Hubby is geting ready to gradually go back to work, my short story has been accepted by the publisher, I've started writing again and we've done some work on the house too. There are still lots of ups and downs to juggle with, including me pulling a muscle in my back yesterday, but it's nice to finally see a silver lining.

Kids are going back to school on Tuesday, so it will be the first day of school (well pre-K) ever for our second daughter, as she'll turn 3 in November. She doesn't speak well enough to express it verbally but she seems excited. Her sister definitely is psyched to go back. =D

Of course, for me, it means more time to work on goals, and unpausing all the work goals too (so not much more time to myself when you do the maths).

I'm glad I was able to relax and rest during my break. Now I just hope the resurgence of COVID-19 cases here in France does not mean even slower business. BUt for this week, I'm taking it easy as regular classes get scheduled again.

How about you? Is going back to school week affecting your schedule? Let me know in the comments.
